NOTD: Silver flecked purple

It doesn't look like purple, but it's Chanel's Vendetta from last year's winter collection (I think?) topped with that Lunasol Gold Silver polish that I love to bits, and two coats of Lunasol's Topcoat which makes the nails really smooth and so you can't feel the glitter bits anymore!

I'm actually holding my earring-box thingy, it's not very big, but since I don't have many earrings, I guess it's fine xD I spend most of my time earring-less anyway.

Just to let you know, I think my upcoming posts will be less frequent than usual, and I'm not doing any FOTDs because I have blepharitis (inflammation of eyelids), conjunctivitis, and three MASSIVE grotesque pimples, so you don't want to see my face.

At least my hair is lovely, thanks to my new Kent ST3 natural bristle cushioned brush which my boyfriend lovingly bought for me (for £20). It's made by an English brush company that has been in business since 1777! They really know what they're doing!

It's natural bristles pick up the sebum from the scalp and distribute it through the hair so it's shiny and soft. And unlike some other synthetic brushes it doesn't make your hair look greasy after you've brushed it! It also doesn't tug, or hurt even though I got some pretty nasty tangles after I've washed my hair and let it dry.

The only problem I have is that my hair seems to go a little static, which is strange since it's natural bristle. Anyone else have this problem?

Jewellery Creations: Red Rose Necklace & Bow Phone Charm

Just thought I'd post a few pieces that I made recently. I haven't touched FIMO for a long time (since September actually), or any jewellery making stuff, but I decided to take a little time to unwind.

I made a necklace, throwing together a handmade FIMO rose, a pearl charm and a swarovski crystal heart, and them to a silver plated chain.

And this phone charm, although my friend actually made the bow~ It's her first ever FIMO creation. Pretty good, right?

Decorated with pink, red, and white swarovski bicone crystals, and two pearl charms.

In person everything is obviously a lot more shiny! My camera didn't quite manage to capture the blinginess D=

Hopefully after the exams, I can have some more time to play with FIMO, and perhaps set up a blogshop, I've been meaning to do so for ages! The only question is, would anyone buy the stuff...

EDIT:// I should really have said (sorry), FIMO is a brand of soft-polymer clay. Basically you can make stuff out of it, and then bake at 120 degrees celsius for 20 minutes in an oven and it turns into hard plastic =D

Credits: Google images.

See, the clay comes like that ^. =D

Urban Decay 24/7 Super Stash Swatches & Christmas~~

Like I said earlier today, I got the stuff I ordered from House of Fraser in the post yesterday (they were having a 10% off everything).

Taa-daah! Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils Super Stash, and the oh-so-famous Urban Decay Primer Potion, which I have to admit, I haven't actually tried yet. I've been wanting this forever, but I've never been able to find it any Boots (a drugstore) stores that I've looked in~!

And here's some swatches:

Pretty colours, right? It's advertised as a set of mini liners, and I didn't think much of it since I already have the Velvet Rope set, which is also a mini set. But, compare the size difference:

Not only are these pencils shorter, they're also skinnier! Eh? I guess it's because the new set cost £18 for 9 pencils, whereas the old I got was 5 for £15.

I'm still happy though. I really love the UD 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils, they're my favourite eyeliners as they're smudgeproof (once initially set) and waterproof! Yipee~

...

I can't believe it's December the 2nd already! Where did my time go?

Well, at least it's time for...chocolate!

What would December be without an advent calendar?

This one's mine: (Courtesy of the boyfriend, both the calendar and the chocolates)

Anyone else got theirs yet? Or am I just a big baby? Hahahah xD

And, and, and, look...

This is our Christmas tree! It stands at 1 metre tall, propped up on a mini-fridge in the corner of our kitchen! (My boyfriend decorated this, I was far too tired to help...Usually I get really excited...)

Guess how much the tree cost? Go on. Have a guess (in pounds sterling).

...

£1.00! (~$1.50USD)

I know, right? BARGAIN! The decorations (apart from the lights and tinsel) were also a £1! (Poundland is really good for something...)

I don't even know what I want for Christmas yet, or my birthday, which is 10 days before Christmas. I think I just want to pass my exam in January (5th & 6th)...

Anyone else got any ideas for what they want for Christmas? I'm thinking of asking for the Clarisonic Plus, but I'm not sure...

In fact, its the boyfriend and I's 2nd year anniversary this Friday, but I have no idea what to get him... Aack~ Ideas would be nice please~~ XD

I'm alive~~~~

Sorry haven't updated for a week. =_= Will do soon.

I had an essay due in on Monday, and as a result I basically spent the whole weekend slaving on it, and only slept 8 hours for the WHOLE WEEKEND. Since then, I've kind of been out of it. Still going to class and stuff, but that's about it, too tired to function.

I can't even wear eye makeup at the moment, because my eyes water all day, everyday, so it simply washes off whatever I put on my lids. Even MAC Liquidlast doesn't last, and that's saying something because that Eyeliner is the heaviest duty-eyeliner I've ever owned!

However, I did get my Urban Decay package (Super Stash 24/7 Mini Eyeliners and Urban Decay Primer Potion) from House of Fraser, so I guess, swatches soon =)

New Moon. WHAT WAS I THINKING?

By the way. If you're a diehard Twilight (Robert Pattinson) fan, you might not want to read this post. So shoo. You read on at your own peril. This is purely my own opinion. If you don't agree, then fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion as I'm entitled to mine. Please don't post hateful comments.

Last night I decided, out of sheer curiosity, that I would go and see the latest episode of the Twilight Saga - New Moon.

Oh my gosh.

All the way through the film, my boyfriend tried to hold back laughing his head off. Not very well I must say. But it was okay, because half the audience was giggling anyway. I was too.

Except for this balding guy and his wife who were sitting directly in front of us. They were definitely not giggling.

They probaly thought we were being quite annoying, since everytime there was a close up shot of Edward (which thankfully wasn't that often since he's hardly in this film) I whispered

"UGGGGGLY!!!!!!" to my boyfriend.

And at one point, you know when he takes his shirt off because he wants to be killed by the Volturi? HE'S HAIRY. HE'S SO HAIRY!!! There's like black hairs on his arms, and some on his chest. It's like WHY DIDN'T THEY WAX YOU.

Don't get me wrong, I don't actually hate Edward, I just don't like Robert Pattinson. Although I must say, even in the books Edward was fairly annoying out of his sheer stubbornness. It's just that Robert has such an oddly shaped face. It's like he got hit several times in the face by a large metal spade when he was a child.

And don't even get me started on Bella. I HATE that girl. She's such a stupid emo little b*tch. Okay, your vampire boyfriend dumped you, GET A LIFE AND GET OVER IT. Don't give me this "I'm not a car you can fix, I'm never going to run right" crap. And on top of that she's used Jacob completely. I felt so sorry for Jacob...

Speaking of Jacob. I've never seen such a stacked 17 year old. WOAH. I could see like, ever single muscle on his upper body..Wow...

Also there's this issue of.

WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU PICK A VAMPIRE OVER A WOLF?

Vampires are like icy marble.

The wolves are like personal heaters.

Surely any person with common sense would prefer to snuggle up to something really warm than something freezing. Also it's probably nice to be able to kiss your boyfriend without him trying to bite you to death. But I guess that's part of the appeal?

Which would you pick? Vampire or werewolf boyfriend?

I know technically they're not Werewolves blahdiblah.

Lazy Sunday FOTD + Pink Bonbon Nails

Hope you had a great Sunday. It's almost Monday for me!~ Just thought I'd share my NOTD and FOTD with you xD

I don't know if I'm the only person who puts on makeup, even though I'm blatantly not going anywhere, and when I can't even be bothered to get dressed!

How old do I look in this photo? Nowhere near 21 right? ...

Face:
Missha BB Cream
Paul & Joe Loose Powder N #02
Avon Blush in Rose Lustre

Eyes:
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in 1999 (shimmery plum)
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Yeyo (frosty white) on inner corners
Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner in Black
Imju Fiberwig Paint on Lash Mascara
Lancome L'Extreme Mascara (on top of the Fiberwig, to make it more waterproof! Heehee xD)

Lips:
Paul & Joe Moisture Lip Treatment

And I also painted my nails with this pretty pink Japanese drugstore polish:

And then tried (and failed) to do something interesting with some Majolica Majorca glitter polish:

So yeah. Today I had a productive day. I did some work, watched X-factor results and Top Gear, and contemplated going back to Shanghai over the 27 day break I have for Christmas holiday, except since I have exams early January, I'm not sure it's a brilliant idea. But the idea of spending Christmas without my family is quite depressing. I mean I'll have my boyfriend here, but still...

Anyone else spending this Christmas away from home?

What do you do when you see someone in the same clothes as you?

A couple of weeks ago when I was in town, I saw this really cute Hello Kitty jumper in H&M (which I usually don't pick clothes up in, for fear of seeing someone in the exact same thing).

I got it anyway because it was adorable, and at £20, it was very affordable. xD

(The flash made it a lot brighter than it is, it's actually the colour in the next photo!)

And then, last week when I was supermarket shopping (whilst wearing the jumper), a saw a Chinese girl wearing the EXACT SAME ONE.

I cringed.

Then, I remembered. Ah ha! My coat's buttoned up! She can't see it!

So I studied her a bit more closely, nudged my boyfriend several times and gestured at her. I then coerced him into agreeing that I looked better in the jumper, and that she was fatter than me.

Triumphantly, I went home.

And that was the end of that.

What do you do when you see people wearing the same as you?
